WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A HIGHLY-MOTIVATED TEAM LEADER TO JOIN OUR
LIMERICK ADULT SERVICES TEAM IN CASTLETROY CO. LIMERICK

CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time Permanent

CONTRACT HOURS: * Hours per week

OVERVIEW OF THE POST:

The Team Lead will be responsible for the operational management of a
new supported living location at Castletroy Co Limerick where one
female service owner resides. The team lead will work as part of a
team, providing direct care and support to the service owner. In
addition, the post holder will also have a key role in managing the
transition of a service owner from her current living arrangements to
her new home in the community. The post holder will be responsible for
coordinating a motivated supported living team will ensure that the
model of service provided in her new home is person centred and based
on a social model of support. This post may require the candidate to
work shifts covering day, evening, and weekends.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* On the live register of Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
(NMBI), RNID or Social care or other relevant health related
qualification (level 8).
* Minimum 2 years previous experience working in a health or social
care setting.
* Experience working with adults with physical and intellectual
disabilities.
* Full clean driving license and willingness to drive service
vehicles.
* Experience working with individuals with behaviours of concern

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

* Experience of supervising staff.
* Experience in community based services/programmes
